MISSION / ÖZGÖREV

Çankaya University Mechanical Engineering Department is committed to;

Provide application oriented undergraduate and graduate education that prepares students for being future leaders in business, academia and industry to solve future as well as current engineering problems collaboratively in a competitive and dynamic society;

Encourage individual development while emphasizing the importance of teamwork in multidisciplinary mechanical engineering environment; fostering academic excellence and lifelong learning;

Encourage research and development activities in both undergraduate and graduate level that will generate creative solutions to complex engineering problems and contribute to scientific and technological development of society and civilization.

Çankaya Üniversitesi Makine Mühendisliği Bölümü;

Öğrencileri, rekabetçi ve dinamik bir toplumda işbirliği içerisinde, bugünün olduğu kadar geleceğin mühendislik problemlerini de çözmek üzere, iş hayatında, akademik alanda ve sanayide geleceğin liderleri olmaya hazırlayan, uygulamaya dönük lisans ve lisansüstü eğitim vermeyi;

Akademik mükemmeliyeti ve ömür boyu öğrenmeyi güçlendirirken teknolojik inovasyonu cesaretlendirmeyi;

Toplumun ve uygarlığın bilimsel ve teknolojik gelişmesine katkı sağlayacak araştırma ve geliştirme faaliyetleri yapmayı amaçlamaktadır.

The Department strives to;

Be recognized nationally and internationally as a benchmark for quality, excellence, innovation and distinctiveness in both undergraduate and graduate education and research in mechanical engineering;

Our immediate goal is to be recognized as the mechanical engineering program-of-choice in the nation.

Pioneer the industry in leading edge technologies through the selected “technology demonstration programs”.

Bölüm;

Makine mühendisliğinde hem eğitim ve hem de araştırmada kalite, mükemmeliyet, inovasyon ve seçkinlikte ulusal ve uluslararası bir marka olarak tanınmayı;

Seçilmiş “teknoloji gösterim programları” ile, öncü uç teknolojilerde sanayiye öncülük yapmayı hedeflemektedir.
